The Lakeville North Varsity Baseball team defeated the Farmington Tigers 2-0 on a double header night to continue their winning streak with their eighth consecutive win.

The 10th ranked panthers showed their superiority over the lower ranked Tigers, shutting them out the entire game. The panthers were led by sophomore Ryan Sleeper, shutting out the Tigers for the first 5 innings, and junior Colin Denk finishing it off for the last two innings.

The panthers score one run each in the 2nd and 4th innings which was enough for them to pull off the win. This was the first of their two game double header. The win against the Tigers helped them set up the win for their next game of the double header, where they played, and beat, their crosstown rivals, Lakeville South, for their ninth consecutive win.
