Lakeville North defeated their crosstown rivals on Friday night for the fourth straight year, 35-0.

The Panthers were on a four game winning streak to start the season and were full of confidence going into the game.

“The game happened like we thought it would happen,” said coach Brian Vossen.

It may have seemed like a big win for the team, beating South, but it was just another win for them.

“It doesn’t mean anything more than the other games,” said Vossen.

North goes into homecoming week undefeated and looks to continue that winning trend against Eastview without the distraction of homecoming.

“On homecoming there’s still a football game and it’s up to us to deliver,” said Vossen. “It’s a program we should beat and a game we should win.”
